Along the Way
I can still smell your body over my clothes; the smell must be of your perfume but I want to believe that it came from your soul.
Today, I let the rain touch my skin. Today, I noticed the dark streets glowed with the lights of passing cars. The unexpected dark clouds of February has brought the rain; the rain that was warm. It was warm because your lips have touched mine. The rain felt magical and blissful, each drop sparkling into myriad perfect droplets of life; like the scattered sun-rays fall over the dark mountains every dawn.
I remember the vivid moment of our first kiss, each moment an eternity in itself. I can still smell your body over my clothes; the smell must be of your perfume but I want to believe that it came from your soul. You lost yourself in me with so much of strength that I became stronger. We evolved because our love has evolved. How wonderful it was!
(I’ve started to write a new fiction. I’ve no idea, how long this story would be – a few thousand words or a few hundred pages.)
